“People's Place Food Pantry, Community Cafe', Wellness Empowerment Center & Thrift Store serving Ulster County with over 20 free programs. A Corner Stone of the Community since 1972.”

We operate a high quality Thrift Store as our primary economic engine, rely on donations and volunteers from our community, and conduct four primary fundraisers throughout the year to support the operation of our Food Pantry. Our Wellness Empowerment Center strives to enhance the quality of an individual's life and help them build a stronger, healthier future through wellness classes, health screenings, nutritional guidance, alternative health modalities, and financial education. Our Community Cafe' ensures that every member of the community has a place at the table, where healthy and delicious food is served and patrons pay what they can afford.
